Job Description

No two days are ever the same at Precious Homes, but every day is rewarding and fun.  You will be working in a fantastic environment and as part of a highly skilled and motivated team delivering a quality service.

The ideal person will have experience in healthcare sales, sourcing referrals for placements and promoting our services to social workers, commissioners and families. The role also requires a level of marketing including assisting with brochure creation, social media and updating our web content to keep it current. You will ideally come with an outstanding network of contacts to enhance our portfolio of referrals. The role will include: 

  • Developing relationships with social workers, commissioners, healthcare stakeholders and families to generate new referrals and business development opportunities.
  • Engaging with referrals to help prospective clients learn more about Precious Homes services and win repeat business.
  • Promoting and securing placements for our services.
  • Using your extensive knowledge and experience of the industry, you’ll develop an effective business development strategy, identify opportunities and win new referrals and tenders.
  • Pro-actively generating new leads and following up on existing ones. 
  • Contributing to invitations to tender and preparing of proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Updating marketing brochures, web content and social media. 
  • Conducting marketing analysis on competitors and market research.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in sales and the health and social care industry. You might be a healthcare worker with sales experience, a practitioner or have a general business development background.
  • 2+ years’ experience in business development and/or sales related roles.
  • You will have a passion for care and understand the importance of Person Centred Support.
  • You will have an entrepreneurial flair and a strong commercial understanding, with a proven track record in identifying and winning business and developing sustainable client relationships with senior stakeholders in B2B environment.
  • You’re a skilled, authentic communicator with excellent verbal, written, telephone and IT skills; able to build trust and deliver compelling business cases to senior stakeholders.
  • You must be have excellent English speaking, writing and communication skills to be successful in your application. This role includes a significant amount of telephone and email work.
  • A can-do and agile attitude necessary to thrive in this environment.
  • You’re able to work independently, but with a collaborative, team-centred style.
  • All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
